Abstract of the article

The purpose of the abstract is to give the reader an idea of the content of the article without reading the full text.

The abstract should be:

  • informative (reflect the main content of the article and research results);
  • structured (follow the structure of the article): description of the research object, motivation formulation, research method (briefly), conclusions (briefly);
  • compact (no more than 250 words);
  • concise and clear, free from secondary information, unnecessary introductory words, general and insignificant formulations of the article.

It is not recommended to use:

  • complex grammatical constructions;
  • common abbreviations and abbreviations;
  • links to sources;
  • formulas and illustrations;
  • information about the research results (in order to increase the reader's interest in the article).

The translation of the abstract must be in correct English, and it is not necessary to repeat the original verbatim. Terminology typical of foreign special texts should be used, and terms that are a direct tracing paper of Russian-language words should be avoided.
